Ms. Mary Grace Perez-Enaya is a faculty member of the Department of Arts, Languages, and Literature at Visayas State University and a Doctor of Philosophy (Literature) candidate at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.

Her research focuses on ethnic stereotypes, cultural perceptions, and identity formation among Filipino groups, particularly the Cebuano and Waray communities in the Visayas. Beyond scholarship, she is also active in the literary arts and is the author of the poetry collection Freckles of the Universe.

Her body of work illuminates regional identities and cultural narratives in the Philippines, bridging rigorous academic inquiry with a deep appreciation for local voices.

The Department of Arts, Languages, and Literature (DALL) proudly congratulates and celebrates our AB English Language Studies (ABELS) student, Mr. Vincent James Malazarte, as Ginoong Malakas 2025, and Ms. Fatima Rose Polinar, a BS Biology student, as Binibining Maganda 2025, during the VSU Salingkusog 2025 - Ginoong Malakas and Binibining Maganda Coronation Night.
