The Davao Doctors College Biology Program proudly held its Pre-Pinning Ceremony for the Biology Student Interns, Class of 2026, on February 13, 2026, at The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, carrying the theme “𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞.”

A celebration of achievement, growth, and new beginnings, the Pre-Pinning Ceremony marks a defining milestone in the journey of our Biology student interns as they prepare to step beyond the classroom and into the world of experiential learning. Rooted in years of academic preparation, laboratory work, research, and field experiences, these aspiring biologists are now ready to embrace the responsibilities and opportunities that await them in their internship journey.

The occasion was made even more meaningful through the inspiring message of Ms. Angel Liliana R. Cataytay, LPT, a proud alumna of the Davao Doctors College Biology Program, whose insights encouraged the interns to pursue excellence with purpose, resilience, and passion for lifelong learning.

More than a ceremonial tradition, the pin serves as a symbol of readiness, responsibility, and commitment. It represents the values that every Biology student is called to uphold—integrity, professionalism, scientific curiosity, and service to the community. As they wear their pins, they carry with them not only the knowledge they have gained but also the responsibility to apply science with purpose and contribute meaningfully to society.
