Rest in eternal peace, Hon. Joebert D. Toledo.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) extends its deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, colleagues, and the entire fisheries profession on the untimely passing of Hon. Joebert D. Toledo.

Hon. Toledo faithfully served the Commission and the Filipino people as a Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Fisheries from January 7, 2022 to July 19, 2026. His dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to advancing the fisheries profession and upholding professional standards have left a lasting impact on the Commission and the profession he so passionately served.

The PRC honors his life and legacy with profound gratitude. His invaluable contributions and exemplary public service will be remembered with deep respect and appreciation.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

During the historic 42nd Commencement Exercises of MSU-Zamboanga Sibugay, Chancellor Sheila G. Magolama, Ph.D., delivered a message of gratitude and community spirit, marking the campus's first graduation rites under its new identity made possible through the support of the MSU System under President Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, CPA. In her address, Chancellor Magolama highlighted that the success of the graduating class of 2026 belongs to a collective village, extending her deepest appreciation not only to the dedicated parents, guardians, and teachers, but also to the broader community that supported these students throughout their academic journey. Looking at the graduates, she noted both their excitement and their fear of the future, yet expressed her absolute confidence that these future innovators, shapers of the world, and creators of solutions will successfully prevail in the face of uncertainty and adversity by choosing to continue moving forward.

​She also gave special recognition to the everyday contributors of the campus ecosystem, thanking the campus staff, local food vendors, transportation drivers—including tricycle, jeep, habal-habal, and bus drivers—printing and bookbinding services, and boarding house owners who provided safe shelter. Chancellor Magolama emphasized that these simple, daily interactions and small acts of kindness are what shaped these graduates into the resilient professionals they are today as they step out to serve and enrich their respective communities.
