Mario, just like his older brother, joined us in grade 3. His parents wanted him to get up to standard with Maths and English. With the uncertainty of what Stage 1 & 2 Covid restrictions might look like, they started straight away. Safe to say Mario adjusted well to online classes and continued strongly through the year! Well done buddy 😄

Edward, like many students in Yr10 science, only had a small taste of physics. When choosing his VCE subjects, he assumed that Unit 1&2 Physics was his cup of tea. But as we all know, the jump from Yr10 to Yr11 is the biggest in a child’s 13 years of schooling. Edward needed some minor support grasping the fast nature of VCE. Soon enough though, he was at par with the class teacher - then after a few more weeks, we even jumped ahead of the class!!! This is exactly the confidence Edward needed. Good on you buddy!

Kieron contacted us at the start of Year 12 wanting some support to finish off his studies. He felt like Year 11 had not prepared him too well and wanted to maximise his study score. That’s exactly what we did!!

Jessie had tried private tutoring before. However, the group setting made him feel like he was in another classroom. He sought one-on-one tutoring as a means to really excel his skills and grow further beyond his year level. Needless to say, his maths understanding grew to at least 12 months ahead where it need to be! Amazing work Jessie!!

Sometimes it’s hard to realise… but if you search a little harder. You’re bound to realise it!

At home, Lucas spoke Akan - the national language of Ghana. At school, english was a bit of a struggle at times. He was stuck between mainstream English classes and EAL. Fortunately, his mum touched base and we supported Lucas all the way to High School where he developed the same confidence and skills as his classmates. Well done Lucas!
