Grades 6 through 8 participated in a program called Mivtza Tomim. This initiative encouraged the boys to act in the ways of a Tomim through taking on hachlatos such as learning Chitas, saying Brachos from a Siddur, Pirush Hamilos, and other important daily practices. The boys received prizes and a grand trip to top golf which didn’t stop them from doing some mivtzoyim and putting Tefillin on a fellow yid.

We are so proud of our 3rd grade girls who worked independently to prepare pesukim in Chumash, blending textual skills with hands on creativity. Their presentations highlighted not only their knowledge but also their growth as independent learners and critical thinkers. 🌟

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the kindergarten boys rejoiced in receiving their very first siddur during their special siddur party.
The boys dressed up as construction workers, preparing themselves to build the Beis Hamikdash through their precious tefilos.
Each child was delighted to receive a personalized siddur, which they will use to daven from every day.
We extend our warmest wishes to the parents; they should have much yiddishe, chasiddishe nachas from their kinderlach.

Empowering Educators: Professional development day at Cheder Chabad FL
The staff of Cheder Chabad got together for a transformative Professional Development day of learning, collaboration and growth.
Our elementary Rabbeim and Morahs started their day off by taking an insightful learning walk and tour at the highly acclaimed David Posnack Jewish Day School in Hollywood; while our Gan Morahs enriched their classroom methods with a wonderful workshop with Rikki Lubin, a talented play therapist.
After a delicious lunch the Morahs delved into a course on the Nurtured Heart Approach, with Mrs. Menucha Klyne. This is part 2 of a 6 week course that teachers are taking. There was lots of positive energy as they learned many new and exciting ways to apply the Nurtured Heart into the classrooms.
Our Rebbeim collaborated as they set goals for the remainder of the year to continuously improve the chinuch of all the precious children in Cheder.

This years Mother-Daughter Melave Malka was a heartwarming celebration of family and togetherness.
The girls worked hard putting together centerpieces and practicing for their performances.
Our very own 8th grade girls guided the evening efficiently, delivered an insightful torah, and sang a lovely song celebrating Jewish mothers.
The 6th grade sang ani ma'amin beautifully which they practiced and prepared for on their own.
Grades 1st through 5th performed gracefully with beautiful songs and choreography. Thank you to the dedicated Morahs who guided and led the rehearsals!
Let's not forget our centerpieces which were artistically crafted by the 6th grade! They featured inspiring quotes celebrating mothers.
The night ended off with lively dancing and singing befitting the joyful month of Adar.

Today in Cheder, we really felt the spirit of ח"י אלול.
The boys had in class Farbrengens and crafts as well as a farbrengen for older boys with Rabbi Sputz!
The girls had a special program where they began their very own Rebbeim book with facts and details of the בעש"ט & אלטער רבי.
We farbreinged about what this day means to us and how Chassidus was needed in this final generation to prepare the world for Moshiach!
Every special day throughout our Chassidishe calendar, the girls will add to this beautiful album.

🔸Cheder’s updated curriculum, along with the scope and sequence for all grades
🔸An inspiring workshop on motivation led by Rabbi Feldman
🔸Chinuch through Connection

Staff were also excited to learn the details of a new *Kriah Program* that will be implemented in the school this year that will, iy”H, allow for more success and fluency in Kriah for all students.
Other key ideas highlighted in the workshops were the central role of connection in the student-teacher relationship and establishing a classroom environment rooted in respect.
It was clear from the week’s events and discussions that Cheder is a nurturing community which is growth-minded and committed to the success of all its students.
