AN ADDRESS PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF SACOSS ALUMNI BATCH 2013 DURING THE 2024 END OF THE YEAR RE-UNION CELEBRATION/PUBLIC LECTURE, DATED 30TH, DEC. 2024 , HOSTED AT THE STATE CAPITAL UYO, AKWA IBOM STATE.
The Chairman of the Occasion, Hon. Victor Udosen, the Special Assistant to The Executive Chairman, Abak LGA on Media and Publicity, Special Guest of Honours and Guest Speakers, the founding fathers of this great Family, esteemed members, invited guests , Ladies and Gentlemen.
I'm honored to stand before you today as the President of this great Association and to welcome you all to our 2024 Get-together Party and 11 Years Re-Union.
Today, we gather to reconnect, reminisce and celebrate the bonds of friendship and camaraderie that have endured over the years. As we converge under the theme "Cooperate Responsibilities, Team Work and Good Human Relationship: The Determinant Factors Influencing Positive Change in Human Growth and Development", I am reminded of the transformative power of our Shared Experiences.
Our time at Southern Annang Comprehensive Secondary School, Ikot Okoro was more than just an academic journey; it was a formative period that shape our values, perspectives, and relationship. The friendships we forged, the challenges we overcame, and the lesson we learned have had a lasting Impact on our Loves.
As we re-unite today, I encourage you all to reflect on the ways in which our cooperative responsibilities, teamwork, and Good human relationships have influenced our growth and development. Let us celebrate the success we have achieved, and let us also learn from the setbacks we have faced. Today, we come together not just as individuals, but as a community bound by a shared history and a common purpose. We are here to reaffirm our commitment to one another, to our Alma matar , and to the values that have guided us thus far. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the organizing Committee, particularly our Emeritus (Pioneer) Acting President , Mr. Edidiong Umoetor (DG), whose tireless efforts have made this reunion possible. I also thank our Sponsors, our Guest Speakers in the persons of pst Charles Isighe , Hon. Jimmy Aniekeme , Mr. Enoidem, Apostle Inanefe and single one of you who has contributed to the success of this event . Your efforts and presence here today are a testament to the enduring Spirit of our Association.
As we celebrate today, let us also look to the future with hope and optimism. Let us Continue to support one another, to collaborate, and to work together towards positive change . As the saying goes, "99 Friends are too few, and one enemy is too many . Let us cherish the friendships we have formed and continue to nurture them.
In conclusion, I invite you all to enjoy the festivities, to reconnect with old friends , and to make new ones. Let us make tonight a memorable one, and let us Continue to inspire and uplift one another in the years to come. Thank you, and welcome once again to our 2024 Get-together Party and 11-Years Re-Union!
