Chicago Tempo Chicago Tempo is an initiative for Chicago dancers to come together and learn from one another in a non-competitive and fun environment.

Chicago Tempo is an workshop based initiative for dancers to come together and learn from one another in a non-competitive and fun environment that fuses so South Asian Fusion styles of dance with additional western styles. With a focus on South-Asian dance styles (such as Bollywood, Bhangra & Classical dance) coupled with additional western styles like contemporary and hip-hop, dancers will be ab

le to continue engaging in their passion for dance amidst their personal lives. Chicago Tempo focuses on providing a consistent and comfortable space for people to grow as dancers while fostering a Chicago dance community. Post our college experience, we found ourselves missing the ability to learn and teach various dance styles, and hte opportunity to meet other people; Chicago Tempo will fill that gap. Chicago Tempo will operate in seasons which each season consisting of 12 weeks. We are also workshop based. Each season will contain 12 different dance workshops each featuring a different style and a different choreographer from the Chicagoland area. Most workshops will be at an intermediate level.
