December 9, 2022 — The Barkada Kontra Droga together with other organizations including the AVS SSG, YES-O, GSP and SDRRM, took part in the Clean-up Drive, Orientation and Training with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) on Solid Waste Management led by Mr. Sundae Lavega, which is awarded as the Best Presenter of Waste No More 2022 and with an Outstanding Practices on MRF Operations.

The MENRO of Municipality, shared with us the process of producing eco pots with the use of solid waste such us plastics and bottles. We also witnessed how they shred these solid waste and produce other amazing materials such as bricks and soil fertilizer which are their ways of showing solicitude towards our Mother Earth.

These activites remind us to nurture, care for, and protect our environment. These are simple to do but have a lot of benefits to our beloved Mother Earth. Also, it demonstrates how students of Antique Vocational School are willing to work together to take care of our planet.

Naniniwala ang YFD na ang boses ng madla ay mahalaga upang maihatid namin ang isang karanasan na may hatid na di malilimutang kasiyahan. Kaya naman, panahon na para pagbigyan ang inyong mga kahilingan. Sa darating na Virtual Celebration ng International Youth Day 2022 simula ngayong Agosto 8 hanggang Agosto 12, anong mga activities ang nais mong mapabilang sa ating gawain at bakit?
