GiL Institute "Explore, Develop and Land your Dreams!" We encourage cosmopolitanism and a passion for education. These experiences have shaped my life very much.

History

“After many years of experience in business management in Asia and intercultural management in Tokyo, Japan, I have decided to create a place for sustainable linguistic and intercultural exchange where strengths are recognized and promoted directly at a high level. As a German, I know all of Germany’s potential and opportunities very well, and this, combined with my extensive professional

experience in Asia, was the prerequisite for founding the institute. I work with a team of dedicated German teachers and career advice experts who support and train our students in their personal professional goals at all levels.”

Mission

“My institution is a safe space that welcomes people from different cultures and communities of all ages. I am happy to impart the skills and knowledge of my excellent employees to my students and thus to teach the German language and issues in the field of interculturality and integration. We are the perfect contact people to make your dream of living, studying or working in Germany come true. Our goal is to promote intercultural exchange between Germany and Asia by offering courses that are based on improving linguistic and intercultural understanding. Giving wings to the dreams of our students is our passion.”

Philosophy
“Through my long professional and private stays abroad in Asia, I had the opportunity to gain direct insights into various cultures, religions, unique customs and ways of life of the people in India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Japan. For me, the real character of a country has always been characterized by the people, the cuisine and the music of the country. These aspects represent a fantastic combination to get to know a country in an authentic way. I worked for a short time in an Indian children’s home and visited a slum in India several times. Most of the people with cultural difficulties of contact usually only see the “poverty” of the country in emerging countries. But this was not what I saw; I saw young people and adults who worked harder and more ambitiously than some others, who had an immense willingness to learn and who had a great desire for education. People who are grateful for what they have and who are exactly satisfied with it. This prompted me to create a place where highly motivated people are encouraged in order to be able to achieve their professional goals. My institute is a place of intercultural and linguistic exchange and allows students to learn from each other and to broaden their horizons; it is based on the pillars of respect and equality. If we go on a trip to another country with a different culture and approach one another with respect, we will have the most beautiful experiences of our lives and make friendships for life. I regard every person and every religion as valuable and equal. I would like to quote the well-known American writer Toni Morrison – “There is no such thing as race. There is just a human race, scientifically and anthropologically. “

I wish to emphasize that this institute is based on the values of mutual respect and equality.”
