The Fo Guang Shan Foundation Philippines successfully held its 10th Cycle Grant Awarding Ceremony, bringing together beneficiary schools from the Bicol, Visayas, and Mindanao regions in celebration of meaningful, values-driven educational initiatives.

The ceremony recognized approved project proposals under the 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐓𝐀𝐆) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, which promotes moral education through doing good deeds, speaking good words, and thinking good thoughts. As part of this cycle, eight schools from 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 were granted financial assistance to support the enhancement of their school-based TAG projects.

𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 was represented by its TAG Teacher Coordinator, 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨, who attended the event in support of character formation and values education.
An inspiring gathering that highlights the power of goodness, compassion, and positive action in shaping our learners and communities.

In view of the public announcement issued by the Office of Sorsogon City Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor on the suspension of onsite classes due to the prevailing weather disturbances brought about by the shear line, Rizal Integrated National School will implement the suspension of all face-to-face classes effective this Friday, January 09, 2026.

𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

In accordance with Executive Order No. 01-2026 signed by Governor Edwin “Boboy” B. Hamor, face-to-face classes at all levels—both public and private—are suspended throughout the Province of Sorsogon today, Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

This suspension is based on the recommendation of the SPDRRMO due to the expected moderate to heavy rainfall caused by a shear line, as advised by PAGASA, to ensure the safety and welfare of students, teachers, and the general public.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and teacher, 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬 𝐉. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚, who transitioned earlier today, January 2, 2026.

𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬 was a pillar of our academic community, known for his unwavering dedication to student success and his vibrant spirit in our hallways. To honor the life and legacy of a remarkable educator, we invite students, alumni, and friends to join us for a special tribute.

A massive shout-out to our incredible teachers who hit the pavement for the BFP Sorsogon City Fun Run: "Bagong Taon, Bagong Pag-asa: Takbo Iwas Paputok, Takbo Iwas sa Sunog."

By participating in this timely event, our educators showed that they don't just teach lessons—they lead by example! Thank you for representing the RINS family and for supporting the Bureau of Fire Protection in advocating for a fire-free and injury-free New Year celebration.

Your energy and dedication remind us all that safety is a shared responsibility. Let’s keep the fire of hope burning, but keep the fire hazards away!

Huge congrats to our amazing dancers Cyrah Gipanao and Lester Juadines on winning 2nd place (silver medal!) in the Dancesport Competition Secondary Level held last Dec 16, 2025, at LCC Mall Grounds during the City Athletic Meet 🎉💃!

Their hard work, passion, and dedication paid off big time! 🙌

This meaningful event was made possible through the initiative and dedication of the 𝐒𝐏𝐓𝐀, headed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐂. 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐨, together with the 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, whose leadership and collaboration brought this activity to life for the entire RINS community.
