I've been happy with it so far; just spent a weekend in an amazing home in Nevada City and only had to pay a cleaning deposit. Also you can exchange homes for any length of time, unlike Airbnb (City of Napa limits you to over-30-day rentals if you don't have a permit.)

There is absolutely nothing like an evening in the desert. It’s amazing to me how much this edge of the Sahara resembles the California desert where I spent many years growing up.
