3. About terrazzo, marbling, splash, and colour block techniques.
5. Sealing and protecting your artwork.
6. Creating different home decor products.

Learn how to create a coaster and trinket on your own using marbling/terrazzo/color block and splash techniques.
Learn the importance of using an eco-friendly product over a toxic product will be highlighted. Alternatives to Jesmonite will also be highlighted. By the end of the course, not only will the participant create their own product, but they will also be able to create many more similar products using these techniques.

Botanical Dyeing with Introduction to Shibori

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the unique art of Natural Dyeing and explore the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori to create patterns of fabric.
Experiment with raw materials like onion peels, marigolds, madder etc. and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of textile made by you.

All the materials and equipment will be provided at the time of the workshop.
The participants get to take home a piece of textile that can be made into a wall art, cushion covers, tables runner, etc.

About Shibori -
Shibori , from the verb root shiboru – “to wring, squeeze or press”
We will be learning 3 types of shibori techniques :
Komu shibori
Itajime shibori
Nui shibori
