"Speech therapy is really expensive — we can't afford it."

Private speech and language therapy in the UK typically costs between £80 and £150 per session.

A full diagnostic assessment alone can cost £300–£500.

And the NHS waiting list in many areas is over a year.

We built our screener specifically to sit between "I'm worried" and "I need full therapy" — because that gap was costing families too much time and money.

£59. One payment. Instant results. A clear picture of where your child is and what — if anything — needs to happen next.

For many families, the answer is reassurance that everything is on track. For others, it's the clarity to act quickly.

Either way — you deserve to know.

Does your child say "dod" instead of "dog"?

This is called Fronting — when sounds made at the back of the mouth are replaced with sounds made at the front.

So "g" becomes "d."

It's completely expected up to around age 3 and a half. After that, it's one of the patterns our screener specifically checks for.

The good news — Fronting is very responsive to support when it's caught early.

Our screener takes 15 minutes, checks 12 phonological processes including Fronting, and tells you instantly whether what you're hearing is age-appropriate.

Here are 4 speech and language skills worth checking now 👇

These aren't pass or fail markers — they're conversation starters.

If you're ticking most of these, brilliant. If a few are giving you pause, it's worth knowing before September rather than after.

Our screener gives you a clear picture of where your child's speech sounds are — and what to do if support is needed.

Results in 15 minutes. Downloadable report you can share with their school.

Children's speech developed as they grow. If your child is having difficulty, this could be topical for their age, but it could also be a sign they need a little extra support.

You don't have to wait months for an appointment and an assessment doesn't have to be expensive

When your child replaces a front sound (such as t) wit a back sound (like k), this is called backing. It is less common than fronting which is why it often goes unnoticed and typically resolves by age 3.

If your child is using words like "Ky" Instead of "Tie", it may be worth exploring their speech further.

This doest need to be expensive, time consuming or stressful. You can do this at home with our phonological screener. It compares children against developmental norms and was developed by a speech and language therapist so you can be sure it's accurate.

Nearly 40%.

That's the proportion of children starting school in the UK without the speech and language skills they need to learn effectively.

It's not a small problem. And for many of those children, it was identifiable — and addressable — long before they ever walked into a classroom.

Early identification doesn't require a referral, a waiting list, or an expensive private assessment.

It requires 15 minutes and the right tool.
