The BA Political Science Program proudly celebrates this significant milestone as the proposed short-course program for elected local officials in Eastern Samar moves forward.
Led by our faculty researchers in partnership with DILG, the study on Governance Competency Gaps and Training Needs for Local Elected Officials (LEO) of Eastern Samar serves as the foundation for a capacity development curriculum aimed at strengthening leadership and public service across the province. This initiative reflects the commitment of Political Science to producing research that informs policy, supports good governance, and contributes to meaningful community development.
Congratulations to the proponents, faculty researchers, and partners whose work continues to bridge academic excellence and public service.
