Phenomenology of Resistance
Quantitative Research
Without taking a position on the fundamental arguments of resistance writers, I will analyze the emergence of collective agency and organizational structures of collective action and the possibilities for effective resistance of Dorothy Day and Thomas Merton.
Husserl’s transcendental phenomenology is also related to the complete works of Day and Merton.

Transcendental Phenomenology Case Studies
Furthermore, a case study on selected poetry of Emily Dickinson to heal from the condition of grief highlights transcendental phenomenology. I take a position on the healing or lack of healing that reading of poetry may provide.
My second case study on reading specific works of Thomas Merton reveal healing of my lumbar spine in a medical test.
