BIPOC highschool kids try out shark tagging 🦈 We are so grateful for our inspirational team of scientists who shared their skills with youth - Dr. Chuck Bangley, PhD Candidate Zoya Tyabji, and Dr. Chris Mull!
We’re also SO impressed at these rockstars for coming on a science expedition at 7:00AM during their summer break - 🌊 🚨 future scientists alert 🚨 ⚡️

Endangered Moose Linocut!
What is Linocut? It is a carving made on a linoleum (rubbery) block! Once you carve your design, you can stamp it again and again and make multiple beautiful prints.
Diversity of Nature and Nature Nova Scotia invite BIPOC and underrepresented youth to participate in our holiday card and polticial activism workshop! Here you will:
* Learn about the Endangered Mainland Moose
* Make your own Moose linocut and prints
* Create cards for your loved ones
* Send one of your prints with a letter to our Premier and Minister for the Environment to encourage them to protect this wonderful species
All materials are provided and you will be able to take your block and all of your cards home!

Supplies are limited to 15 students, so sign up for free today :)
