Demonstrating commitment to continuous learning and educational excellence, MLNNHS teachers tuned in through online live viewing arrangements, listening attentively to better understand the upcoming learning system reforms and prepare for their effective implementation in the school community.

Meanwhile, 8 Master Teachers from MLNNHS attended the face-to-face orientation held at the City of Passi Arena (COPA), Passi City, alongside thousands of educators and Schools Division Office personnel from across Western Visayas.

The orientation gathered participants from the Schools Division Offices of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo Province, Iloilo City, Passi City, and Roxas City. The activity aimed to ensure the uniform dissemination and deeper understanding of DepEd learning system reform policies across different governance levels and strengthen their implementation in schools.

Through activities like this, MLNNHS continues to uphold its commitment to quality education by equipping its educators with the knowledge and readiness needed to respond to the evolving needs of learners and the education sector.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Melchor L. Nava National High School officially launched the Academic Recovery Accessible Learning (ARAL) and Summer Remediation Program (SRP) on May 6, 2026, beginning with an orientation attended by teachers, learners, and parents.

The activity marked the official start of the ARAL classes and remediation sessions aimed at helping learners improve academic performance, recover missed competencies, and address learning gaps through focused academic intervention.

Ma’am Geraldin L. Taroballes, School Principal III and Ma’am Mae Jean Villaruel, Master Teacher I in English, discussed the objectives, program guidelines, schedules, and expected outcomes of the program, with this year’s implementation placing emphasis on ARAL Reading to further strengthen learners’ comprehension and literacy skills. Parents were also encouraged to actively support and monitor their children’s participation throughout the duration of the program.

The ARAL Program reinforced the partnership between the school and parents, emphasizing their collective role in supporting learners toward academic improvement and success.
