We’re home! It was a long and fulfilling week. We are thankful for safe and predictable travel, snacks in bags, and in-flight wifi.
And with that, the 2025-2026 Webb City High School Speech & Debate season has ended. See you all at camp!

Day 6 of Nats ✅
Our last day before we travel home! We watched some great finalists, bonded over our favorite performers, and played some games in our hotel before live-streaming the awards ceremony.
We are thankful for good weather, great food, and supportive families on this trip!

Day 5 of Nats ✅
We are brunch waffles, watched final rounds, got our hands on Ginny, AND Mrs. Owens received her 1st Diamond! 💎 Tomorrow, we will watch more final rounds and livestream the awards ceremony.

Nats Day 4 ✅
All four students competed in supplementals today! We didn’t have any breaks, but we cheered on some of our district friends who broke. We are excited to watch the final rounds tomorrow!

Day 3 of Nats ✅
We finished up our main events today and are registered for supplementals starting tomorrow. After a day spent shopping and eating great food, we ended the evening with a practice session before we compete tomorrow.

Day 2 of Nats ✅
Our first day of competition! Kooper competed in two sessions of House and Hadley competed in four rounds of POI. They both have more rounds tomorrow before breaks. Blue and Em have been cheering their teammates on!
We ended the day eating delicious crepes 😋

Day 1 of Nats ✅
Yesterday, we registered for the tournament and ate some good fried chicken. We also toured the Science Museum of Virginia, as well as the Poe Museum. At the Science Museum, we watched Rat Basketball! The Poe Museum led us through Edgar Allan Poe’s life. A very educational day.

After a long evening of travel yesterday, we arrived around midnight to our hotel. Today, we will register for the tournament, explore the city, and get some good food with good friends.
