It was our pleasure to host guest and have Mrs. Brissa Sotelo-Vargas, Director of Community Relations and Government Affairs at Valero Refinery as our Principal for a Day! Principal Sotelo-Vargas had a busy day. She made morning announcements, led The Great Shakeout Drill, visited classrooms, read to students, had lunch with our ILT, PTO, and Parent Volunteers, and joined a lesson in our Robotic Lab! Building strong school-community connections!

We are thrilled that tomorrow we will host our guest Principal Mrs. Brissa Sotelo-Vargas from Valero for ! Together we will celebrate student achievement and build strong school-community connections.

Congratulations to 5th Grader Abel Joya our Future Pilot Winner. He was recognized tonight at The Wilmington Community Night at Banning High School!
