"I have two children and a disabled parent who are at increased risk if they contract COVID. It was important to me to be vaccinated for them. Protection in the form of herd or group immunity is crucial for protecting those who are unable to receive the vaccine. I got vaccinated as much for myself as I did for others."

"By getting vaccinated, I'm able to protect myself, my family, and the students I serve, as well as the staff with which I work. Yes, it may just have emergency use authorization from the FDA, but the robust data from the clinical trials convinced me it's safer to receive the vaccine than to come down with a severe case or risk spreading COVID-19 to my child."

"As educators, we can make the most impact face-to-face with students, and the vaccine will help us toward that goal. I'm fully vaccinated. I can't wait to spend more time safely with the kids doing the work I love. It will be wonderful to go on field trips and spend time in the community.
