Kia ora whanau

It’s been a pleasure teaching in the primary this yeah and I have enjoyed every minute. I wish all te students that have been involved with me this year and I wish each and everyone the very best for the new year. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them and I hope they will continue to do their best for 2023. Hope you all have a wonderful merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.###

Morena whanau we the primary are going up to Hinerupe Marae to participate in the Hinerupe Kohanga 40th birthday celebrations. We will return to school in time for lunch.

Tamaiti o te wiki- Rydah Brooking Barnett for managing himself in situations. Tghn Huriwai- 3rd place for NPEC 8year. Well done Korua. But also to all our tamariki for this terms efforts. ♥️♥️

Well what a full on day the Primary and Rumaki students had today. 1. Revolution group came to talk to
out students about resilience. 2. Had a visit from Matua Mike who donated our Primary a brand new softball and peg ball resources. 3. Duffy role model- Stella and Sol. Thank you all so much for giving your time and resources to our tamariki. We are all very so grateful 🥰🙏😍

Picnic in the park for our tamariki today. A well deserved break from
the classroom as part of their reward. Beautiful sunshine, kai and playground. Back to school for our Tamaiti o te wiki and that went to Ritihia (Riri) Kamizona. Tau ke whanau. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 🥰

Well what a day. Every child we took to cross country today ran, walked or skipped so it was a very proud moment for us as teachers and parents. No one went unnoticed for their efforts and we are just so proud of everyone of them. Tghn Huriwai was placed 3rd in the 8 year old girls. Well done Tghn 🥰You guys rock 😍

Yesterday we had Papa Phil Reid come into classes to talk about what is recycled and what is not. They looked at how to read labels displaying which bin they go into. Now we are all going to be into it with our recycling. Nga mihi papa Phil.

Today we had a chocolate birthday cake and banana smoothies because Te Hau Tuku turned 11 years today. Nga mihi mama for the humongous cake. Happy birthday Tuku love from all your class mates and Koka Helena ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Our prayers were answered when we asked for a fine day. And that it was. Thank you to all the students, parents, and kaiako for coming to our Ripper Tournament. Some mean skills shown out there by our young ones. To our cooks and our mums awesome. We made $900 towards our end of year trip. To Philly thank you for your time and sound system. To Mel and the students Nga mihi for your time and refs. To Shyla and her team you guys rock. Thank you cuzzy in Tammy for her generous sponsor for the prizes. lastly to everyone who made our day an enjoyable one.
