I just spent a few hours talking to DavidU students about The Process of a Leader and we were moved to tears a few times - sharing how our character and faith have been tested after we said "yes" to leadership opportunities. We talked about how remembering the anointing in the moment God called us into ministry is what sustains us when we face hard times. We talked about the function of the Anointing (to set the captive free, make the blind see ... Luke 4, Acts 1:8, etc) and discussed many examples of the anointing coming upon a broken/humble servant in the Bible for the express purpose ... So that God can accomplish what HE wants to accomplish in the community - often to bring people Home to the Father's house - back to God. If you feel a call to leadership, I invite you to check out my book.
