What a phenomenal start to the 2nd Inter-Department Volleyball Tournament, 2026 for the Department of English!

We secured a commanding 2-0 set victory against the IPE Department in our opening match. The energy on the court was electric & our players showed incredible coordination & grit. Every serve & spike reflected the hard work & dedication of our talented athletes. It was truly an inspiring display of teamwork & sportsmanship. This win sets a powerful tone for the rest of the tournament. We're beyond proud of our team's performance today.

Anthony has recently embarked on a promising career journey as an Assistant Marketing Officer at Mazen (Bangladesh) Industries Ltd. Throughout his time at BAUST, Anthony demonstrated not only academic dedication but also the versatile communication skills that our department strives to instill in every student. His transition into the corporate sector is a testament to the fact that a degree in English opens doors to diverse & dynamic career paths. A day of achievement & new beginnings!

The BAUST Seminar Hall was buzzing with energy today as we celebrated the completion of the 2nd batch & welcomed the 3rd batch of our English Language Certificate Course. It was a privilege to be able to conduct the program with the insightful words of our Vice-Chancellor Sir, Brig Gen Mohammad Mobarak Hossain Majumder, psc. Students were recognized for their perseverance & growth in mastering the English language. This program continues to be a cornerstone for professional development within the BAUST community.
