To the Assumption College of Davao (ACD) community—including all learners, students, personnel, contracted workers, and visitors:

In line with our continuing commitment to safety, security, and preparedness, mandatory bag inspection upon entry will be strictly enforced for all individuals, without exception.

To help ensure a smooth, efficient, and hassle-free entry each day, please familiarize yourself with the newly established protocols outlined in Bag Inspection Protocol 2026.jpg and Bag Inspection Protocol 2026 (2).jpg.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟰-𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀

APPROACH: Proceed directly to the designated entrance.

PRESENT: Bag owners must personally open and present their bags for inspection.

COOPERATE: Allow our authorized security personnel to inspect your bag.

PROCEED: Once your bag has been cleared, proceed safely into the campus.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀

1. Arrive early.
Allow sufficient time for the inspection process to avoid delays on your way to class or work.

2. Know who conducts the inspections.
Bag inspections are conducted primarily by our Security Personnel (initial screening) and, when necessary, further verified by the Prefect of Discipline (POD). All authorized personnel are easily identifiable by their official IDs and uniforms.

3. Follow instructions at all times.
Please cooperate with our security personnel throughout the inspection process. They may use handheld metal detectors, gloves, and flashlights to facilitate thorough or low-light inspections.

Thank you for your full cooperation and understanding. Campus security is a shared responsibility, and these measures are implemented solely to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of the entire ACD community.

This orientation will provide an overview of the essential policies, rules, student conduct expectations, and institutional guidelines outlined in the College Student Handbook (2nd Revised Edition, 2024). Familiarity with these standards is vital in fostering a safe, respectful, disciplined, and productive learning environment for all.

IN PHOTOS | Service-Learning Input Session

Yesterday’s input session on service-learning brought together the college faculty for a meaningful discussion on integrating experiential learning into academic instruction. The activity aimed to strengthen faculty understanding of how service-learning can bridge classroom theories with real community engagement, fostering both academic growth and social responsibility among students.

We extend our appreciation to our guest speaker, Agnes J. Sagaral MAEd, MBA, RSW, for sharing her expertise and practical insights on designing and implementing impactful service-learning experiences. Her discussion highlighted the value of purposeful community involvement in shaping more responsive and socially aware learners.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to advancing innovative and community-centered teaching practices.
