The garden’s coming along. We have lots of strawberries and blue corn now, as well as different herbs and vegetables.

It was 5 years ago today that land was reoccupied on our unceded territory and a land based language camp was born.
So much has happened within these last 5 years, but instead of focusing on the trials and tribulations, we want to acknowledge all of our supporters who have helped us to maintain everything we fought so hard to reclaim.
As we move forward into our 6th year at Kanienkehaka Land Back Language Camp, we carry knowledge and experience that is invaluable to our families and future generations; there is nothing but gratitude for our young people who have been learning and practicing alongside us.
After 5 years, this is all our children know, this is their way of life.

Elevating Land Back one language camp at a time; showing our young people what it is to be truly free and independent on our unceded territory.
Our children will not be raised to be domestic dependents. They are being educated in such a way that no foreign entity will be able to interfere with their connection to the land or restrict their ability to sustain our families in accordance with the Kaianere’ko:wa
Nia:wen again for everyone’s support, we’re finally able to spin the wheel and raffle off our first piece of art.
