We often hear about how incredible the AIM Language Learning method is for kids, but Kate H. is proving that the magic of AIM works for all ages.
Kate, a high school French teacher, saw her Grade 9 and 10 students go from "zero French" to chatting with confidence. Now, she’s taking that transformative energy and applying it to a whole new demographic: Adults.
She recently shared a demo of a first lesson with adult friends, and the results are just as joyful. As Kate puts it:
"I started wondering what it might look like to teach adults using AIM... My students started the year with zero French and by the end were chatting away together with confidence-- it was just the best!"
Whether you are 14 or 40, the desire to communicate and the joy of fluency remain the same.
Discussion: Have you ever used AIM strategies with adult learners? Let’s discuss in the comments!
