One of our favorite spaces at Early Connections…
The Discovery Room. 💚🔍🌿

Designed for our Preschool and Pre-K children, this space invites curiosity, exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Inspired by our Reggio Emilia and Montessori influences, The Discovery Room encourages children to ask questions, investigate, experiment, and make meaningful connections through play and discovery.

During rest time, children who have naturally outgrown naps won’t be expected to remain on a cot for extended periods. Instead, they will have the opportunity to spend time in this thoughtfully designed environment where they can continue learning, creating, discovering, and exploring in a calm and engaging setting.

From light exploration and science materials to nature-inspired activities and open-ended learning experiences, every element of this room was chosen with purpose.

As we prepare to open our doors, we are excited to share that we have officially passed our DCFS inspection and are now in the final stages of preparation. Our classrooms are coming to life, our team is preparing for opening day, and we are just weeks away from welcoming our first families.

From Home Daycare… to something much bigger. 🤍

Many of you have been part of our journey from the very beginning. From the small, intimate days of home daycare, to now building something that has truly become a dream years in the making.

Over the last several months, we have been pouring our hearts into creating Early Connections Childcare, a warm, intentional early childhood center built around connection, emotional wellbeing, creativity, independence, and a genuine love for children.

This was never about simply opening “another daycare.”
It was about creating the kind of place families deeply wish existed. A place where children feel safe, loved, understood, inspired, and excited to learn every single day.

Every classroom, every material, every detail, every teacher, and every decision has been chosen with purpose and with childhood in mind.

We are creating:

This journey has taken an incredible amount of sacrifice, hard work, faith, tears, growth, and love behind the scenes, and seeing it finally come to life has been emotional in the best way possible.
