𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀

The faculty and students of St. Michael Archangel Learning Center gathered at the High School Department to prayerfully take part in the Stations of the Cross.

The Stations of the Cross is a shared prayer in which devotees reflect on the journey of Jesus Christ to His crucifixion. Through this devotion, they remembered His sacrifice and deepened their faith together.

📌 Day 2 - Afternoon Activities | March 6, 2026

The afternoon brought a spectacular display of Michaelian talent through dance, as learners from all grade levels lit up the stage with energy and creativity.

Grades 7–10 captivated the audience with a creative folk dance, blending traditional movements with modern flair and delivering a performance that was both stunning and heartfelt. Every step reflected dedication, artistry, and a respect for culture that left the crowd in awe. Moreover, Grades 4–6 impressed with a ballroom dance, demonstrating elegance, poise, and precise coordination, earning applause with every graceful movement. The youngest performers, Grades 1–3, charmed everyone with a lively retro dance, their energy, smiles, and playful enthusiasm spreading joy throughout the audience. Together, these performances highlighted not only the technical talent of Michaelians but also their confidence, creativity, teamwork, and love for expressing themselves through movement.

Indeed, this year’s Founding Anniversary showcased the amazing talents of our Michaelians. The day reminded us that at St. Michael Archangel Learning Center, every learner matters, every moment counts, every talent shines, and every heart adds to the vibrant spirit of our school family.

📌 Day 2 - Morning Activities | March 6, 2026

The celebration continued on its second day with vibrant energy as Michaelians kicked off the morning with a lively parade that brought the streets to life. The colorful display, paired with the cheers and smiles of learners, teachers, and the school community, created a heartwarming and joyful start to the day.

After the parade, the Michaelian community was treated to an impressive exhibition by the SMALC Drum and Lyre Corps. The excitement carried on as the stage came alive for Michaelians Got Talent, where learners confidently shared their gifts in singing and dancing. Adding a special touch to the morning, participants of the field demonstration from the recent National Arts Month celebration wowed the crowd with their grace and coordination.

The celebration became even more fun with the SSLG booth, where learners eagerly joined in games and activities, bringing laughter and excitement throughout the morning. Meanwhile, the PTA Executive Committee raffle draw created moments of anticipation and joy as lucky participants received special prizes.

From the vibrant parade to the inspiring performances and playful activities, the morning truly highlighted the talent, creativity, and close-knit spirit that make Michaelians so special. It was a heartfelt celebration of not just skills, but the joy, camaraderie, and pride that define the SMALC community.

📌 Day 1 - Thanksgiving Mass | March 5, 2026

The school's 14th Founding Anniversary opened with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, presided by Rev. Fr. Victor V. De Guzman.

In his homily, Fr. De Guzman reflected on the Gospel reading from Luke 16:19–31, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. He reminded the community that the story calls us to recognize the needs of others and to live lives of compassion, humility, and generosity. True faith, he emphasized, is not only expressed through prayer but also through our willingness to share our blessings and care for those who are less fortunate.

As SMALC celebrate fourteen years of growth and service, the message serves as a timely reminder that the success of the school is not measured only by achievements, but also by how the community lives out the values of faith, kindness, and responsibility toward others.

The Thanksgiving Mass set a meaningful tone for the celebration as the community offered gratitude to God for His guidance throughout the years and for the continued mission of forming young minds and hearts.
