Congratulations, Pau! Here is Paulette's full testimony: "To the entire VSA team, thank you for being a huge part of this journey!

I had my doubts about whether VSA was enough because its materials are less voluminous. Because of the doubt, I experienced the fatigue from juggling two RCs. Despite the fatigue and the personal battles I faced during the review, I still managed to pass the board exam on my first take. All thanks to VSA’s system! I realized during the CPALE that if I had focused SOLELY on VSA materials, I might have performed even better.

VSA focused on high-yield topics, specifically the basics and techniques you need for the CPALE. The lectures and handouts were not overwhelming, just enough to strengthen your foundation and help you pass and even excel.

The simplified approach to teaching complex topics made the board exam bearable, thanks to the strong emphasis on concepts, plus solid techniques!

MS and AFAR were challenging for me personally. But, Ma’am Quen and Sir Art really strengthened my foundation since the comprehensive review in undergrad up to the REVIEW PROPER, which I carried through until the boards.

Tax and RFBT are my highest subjects and among my 4 subjects with 80up rating, thanks to VSA. The lectures, format, framing, and types of questions were very similar to those in the BE. The boards didn’t feel so unfamiliar to me. And my personal bias: “nami gid discussions ni mam quen ya.”

The monthly pre-board examinations were also very effective for self-assessment. Taking the actual board exam felt very much like answering VSA’s pre-board exams!

"I was a fresh graduate who wasn't particularly studious, and that was exactly the weight I carried into my nine-month review. The CPALE loomed over everything, and I wasn't sure my best would ever be enough.

When results came, 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙣𝙤 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙬 75, and scored above 80 in MS, which many nationwide found particularly difficult. Nine months of showing up to a system that works, and it showed.

I was 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 at first if enough na ba ang VSA IRS to pass the CPALE because they are very true to their claim na "𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬." But what I like most about their system is that:

1. They focus more on high-yield topics. They don't waste your time on trivial topics na most likely hindi lalabas sa board exam.

2. They explain topics clearly para mas maintindihan at mas tumatak sa'yo. Dala-dala mo hanggang actual boards.

3. They teach you how to study smart, not just study hard, since it's true na you don't have enough time to learn everything.

4. The monthly preboard exams really helped me avoid procrastinating. Yes, nakakapagod, pero worth it!

This system helped me secure Top 39 in the May 2026 CPALE.
