“Architecture of Happiness” is a training course organized by IWR, which aims to strengthen youth workers’ competences in exploring the sources of happiness and fulfilment in life, promoting critical thinking, self-reflection and the ability to guide young people in reflecting on values, life choices and well-being through non-formal education.

If you are interested in personal development, well-being and meaningful life choices, this project is for you!

Coimbra – surprisingly quiet tonight. Tomorrow we begin a week's journey into "Embodied Coaching" with a group of young people from Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Portugal and Poland organised with Instytut Współpracy Regionalnej .

The course presents stress-reduction and regeneration techniques, exercises rooted in traditional yoga and a number of coaching tools based on the competence framework of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

Do fundo do coração um agradecimento ao Reflorestar Portugal por organizar um dos eventos mais bonitos e valiosos em Portugal. "IV Encontro pelas Florestas" deixou-nos mais motivados, muito inspirados.

Falou-se de florestas, de proteção, de colaboração, de políticas, de mudança.... e de muito mais.
Encontramos dezenas de pessoas que estão a agir de diferentes formas em diferentes pontos do país - descobrindo que ao mesmo tempo estamos todos unidos nesta aventura de reflorestação, regeneração e cuidar da Terra.

Foram três dias cheias de conversas, workshops, aprendizagens, palestras e trocas e pessoas bonitas. Bem-haja!

From the bottom of our hearts, a big thank you to Portugal for organising one of the most beautiful and meaningful events in Portugal. The “4th Meeting for the Forests” left us feeling motivated and deeply inspired. We discussed forests, conservation, collaboration, policies, and change.

We met dozens of people who are taking action in different ways across the country, discovering that we are all united in this shared adventure of reforestation, regeneration, and caring for the Earth and each other.

It was three days filled with conversations, workshops, learning, talks, and exchange. Thank you and see you next time!

Congratulations and many thanks to all participants of "Laboratory of Change" — a one-week workshop for Polish school teachers co-organised with Fundacja Wspierania Inicjatyw Rozwoju Lokalnego.

We looked at practical goal-management and communication tools, including Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication, practiced a range of techniques for stress-regulation and mental resilience, as well as reflected on tending the "inner garden".

It was pure joy to be able to listen to and share ideas with a group who brought together a total of over 300 years of teaching experience and hearts ready to reflect on our values and on how teaching can best be done in this fast-changing and tumultuous world.

Many thanks to our colleagues at Agrupamento de Escolas Martim de Freitas for a guided visit to their school and to Seminário Maior de Coimbra for hosting us in its serene walls.
