Today, our talented elementary school’s Drama Club, directed by 4th grade teacher, Ms. Dixon, brought the magic of Oz to life with their incredible performances! 🎤🦁

The importance of student participation in school plays cannot be overstated. Not only do these performances foster creativity and self-expression, but they also teach valuable lessons in teamwork, dedication, and resilience. Watching our young ones step into the roles of Dorothy, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow, we were reminded of how these experiences shape their confidence and social skills.

A huge round of applause to all the students for their hard work, enthusiasm, and exceptional talent. You truly transported us to the Land of Oz and put on a show we will never forget! 🌈🍭

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our very first Beta Club! 🌟 This special group of scholars are dedicated to promoting academic excellence, leadership, and service within our school community. Our inaugural members, made up of some of the brightest and most passionate students, will soon begin planning amazing projects that will benefit our school and the local community.

Today, our 🤓Attendance Champion - Scholars💥 had an unforgettable experience at the University of Memphis Women's Basketball game! 🏀✨ It was more than just a fun outing! It was an opportunity to show the kids how physical activity, teamwork, and dedication come together in the world of sports.

Exposing students to live athletic events like this is such an important part of their wellness education. It helps them see the value of staying active, working as a team, and taking care of their bodies in a fun, engaging way. Who knows? Maybe a few future athletes or sports fans were born today!

🎀 Our staff & students really came together to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month the entire month of October, with thoughtful and caring events coordinated by an amazing teacher, Ms. Jastassia Danielle Bolden-Buckner! Events that encouraged students and families to wear pink and participate in fun activities that promoted awareness and supports for those affected by breast cancer.
