Two young local lads lace the boxing gloves for the first time and test out their skillset come June 7th. Leo from Bangor takes on Cian from Bethesda.

Luke does us proud. At only 17, cutting down to 59kg and having 4 pullouts in the space ofn2 days and just wanting to fight ANYONE took the last minute decision to fight experienced boxer Scottt who is easily 20kg/30kg + heavier than him and more ring expereince. Hats of to Scott jumping in last minute though. If he hadn’t Luke wouldn’t have had a fight.

Even after the illegal blow me and Luke still wanted the bout to carry on as we knew what Luke was capable. Luke was disappointed after the bout that shows the winning character he has (even though he won) but we don’t like to win like that especially when we had the arm bar locked in, but people do desperate things in desperate times… Luke has a bright future and I’m proud not to only call him a student but also a friend. Awesome work mate proud of you so much 🫶🏻

My lads first title win! Beat one the best prospect boxers in North Wales who was 5-0. Pie moves to 6-0 boxing & kickboxing and is 2-0 in MMA. Just turned 17.
