Congratulations to .manno on graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education with a degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and a minor in Teacher Education! 🎓💙💛

An accomplished student, researcher, and leader, Madeleine was selected as the School of Education’s Undergraduate Commencement Speaker — an incredible honor that reflects the impact she made throughout her college career.

During her time at Pitt, she conducted honors thesis research focused on autism, built meaningful community partnerships, and developed strong relationships with peers, professors, and mentors. She will continue her work in Pittsburgh this summer as a Research Specialist in the CARE Lab, where she will study parent-child interactions, emotional development, and neuroscience research.

We are so proud of all she has accomplished and cannot wait to see all the lives she will continue to impact in this next chapter! ✨

Alumnae Help Needed! – Honor a Legacy. Inspire the Next Generation.

The Patricia Cerasuolo Girls’ Leadership Conference is built on the belief that girls learn best from those who have walked before them, and that’s where you come in.

We are seeking Fontbonne alumnae to volunteer as hosts for career exploration sessions on Friday, March 6, 2026. These small-group conversations give students the chance to hear real stories, ask honest questions, and imagine what’s possible for their futures.

Mrs. Cerasuolo believed deeply in the power of mentorship, leadership, and lifting others as you climb. By sharing your story, you help keep her legacy alive. 💙

🎉 We are thrilled to announce that the third annual Patricia Cerasuolo Girls' Leadership Conference will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026! 🎉

At the heart of this event are our incredible alumnae who help us honor Mrs. Cerasuolo's legacy while inspiring current students with their stories, insights, and leadership.

🌟 This year, we're inviting alumnae to host career exploration sessions - small group conversations where students can hear directly from alumnae about their career paths, experiences, and advice.

All alumnae are also warmly invited to join us for an on-campus reception immediately following the Conference.

📅 More details, including informational Zoom sessions for participants, will be shared in early 2026.

As a leader in girls' education, Fontbonne is committed to fostering the development of girls' leadership skills—essential for securing a successful and fulfilling future.

The Patricia Cerasuolo Girls' Leadership Institute was established to provide intentional leadership opportunities for our students and to honor Mrs. Cerasuolo’s mission of empowering every Fontbonne student to find her voice and become a change agent in the world. We are dedicated to helping students harness their unique power and inspire positive change in their communities.
