Discipline of Psychology, School of Social Sciences, IGNOU organised the 3rd Lecture on "Indian Traditional Wisdom and Workplace Well-being" under Mental health Lecture Series on Well-being, Inclusion and Sustainability as a part of celebration of World Mental Health Day 2024. The Lecture was held as a webinar on 15th October, 2024 at 12:00 noon. The Chief Guest and Resource Person was Prof. Ashish Pandey, S.J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, Mumbai.

The Discipline of Psychology, School of Social Sciences organised a Session on the topic "Prioritising Mental Health and Well-being: Creating Sustainable Workplace" on 9th October, 2024 as a part of celebration for the World Mental Health Day (10th October). The Chief Guest for the event and the Resource Person was Prof. Urmi Nanda Biswas, Department of Psychology, Delhi University.

Prof. Suhas Shetgovekar, Director, School of Social Sciences and Professor in Psychology along with Ms. Megha Sharma, Practicing Clinical Psychologist and Research Scholar, Discipline of Political Science conducted a session on Managing Exam Stress under the new programme initiated by EMPC, IGNOU "The Sky is the Limit".
