🎉 2/10 Quran Giveaway!

I’m excited to be partnering with an old friend whom I met when I first converted to Islam.

Nusaybah founded Quran by Hand, reusable dry-erase Quran workbooks that help students master their memorization using the ancient method of writing to reinforce learning.

Unlike a standard Quran tracing workbook or single-use traceable Quran printout, the dry-erase pages allow students to write and rewrite every ayah endlessly, building stronger retention without ever running out of pages.

One winner will receive their Dry-Erase Quran Bundle (2 books covering Juz 27-30 and 3 dry erase markers).

4 years ago, I recited this page from Surah Al-A’raaf (7) to Shaykhah Mariam; and today, one of my first Ijazah students recited it to me 🥹.

I avoided this role for over a year because of the huge responsibility to pass this knowledge on (Jazakillah khayran, Shaykhah Mariam .mariam.ca, for your constant, loving encouragement).

And subhanaAllah now, helping my graduates in group Ijazah Prep classes or one-on-one Ijazah classes is one of my favourite moments as a Quran teacher.

In just a year, their recitations have completely transformed. All distinctly beautiful and beautified with the proper application of Tajweed.

All these students were:

Patient with reviewing all the Tajweed rules with us.
Humble enough to accept constant constructive feedback.
Prioritizing Quran learning despite how they felt or what was going on in their life.

They are dedicated and show up consistently.

May Allah accept from them, and me.
May we be among His Chosen.

I have been gifted many Arabic and Quran products over the years. My favourite has now become the books.

Exceptionally designed with so much care.
Unique. Intentional.

They provide ways for you to connect with The Quran beyond recitation.

One of their latest releases is Quran Compass, a Surah by Surah Study Guide & Reflection Journal. There is one page dedicated to each surah in The Quran. It’s a combination of a summary, tafsir and points of reflection.

I intend to read it during Ramadan, inshaAllah.

I started a Surah Al-Fatihah understanding challenge with the sisters in my Ramadan program. I decided to read the Surah Al-Fatihah page in Quran Compass and I’d like to share a part of it with you that I found so beautiful:

✨ Al-Fatihah reveals the secret to a fulfilled life: genuine worship and complete reliance on Allah. When your heart truly submits to the Most Merciful, you discover an unshakeable peace that no worldly circumstance can disturb.

This is the foundation of all success, recognising that Allah is both the source of all blessings and the only true helper in times of need. Whether facing challenges or celebrating victories, your anchor remains constant.

Work with excellence, strive for your goals, but let your confidence rest in Allah’s wisdom and timing.

The One who guided you to Islam will continue guiding you through every step of your journey.

Trust in His perfect plan. ✨

I was in the hospital this time last year. The day before Ramadan, I almost crashed from the pain. Thankfully, I was able to safely pull over.

Later that day, I threw up. With the intense stomach pains and now vomiting, I decide to go the emergency. First night in Ramadan.

After faith, nothing is more important than your health. You NEED it to worship, to take care of yourself and others, to think clearly, work, to simply enjoy life.

I didn’t fast last Ramadan, but do you know what got me through such a difficult time? My Ramadan Program.

And I’m not saying that as a marketing tactic to convince you to sign up for it. (If you notice, I don’t try to convince anyone to join my programs, I only want sisters who are ready and willing in my programs).

I was in serious pain, both physically and mentally, but I’ll forever be grateful for the space I helped create with my incredible friend and partner, and my team’s support, to enhance a sister’s Ramadan experience - despite her circumstances and where she lives in the world.

It truly was everything I wish I had when I converted to Islam, everything I needed as a young mom stuck at home with 4 kids 5 and under.

It was what I needed to finally reach Ramadan goals I never imagined I could achieve.

The program is for sisters who want The Quran to be their #1 focus in Ramadan, not just something they do on their own year after year - same goal, same recitation mistakes, same post-Ramadan regrets and feelings of failure.

This program is for sisters who want to be in community with like-hearted people, surrounded by angels as they remember Allah.

✨ This program is for sisters who want to experience a different Ramadan.

I’ll be there with you, everyday, in the private Quran-focused chat, in live recitation sessions, in the special talks with guest speakers, and in the Tajweed classes, as I help you improve how you recite Allah’s Words.

If this sounds like something you’ve been longing for, then use the link in my bio to sign up.

It would be an honour to spend Ramadan with you.

For the last 2 Ramadans, I’ve set some BIG memorization goals. One year, to memorize ALL of Surah Al-Baqarah (48 pages). Last year, Surah Aali ‘Imran (27 pages).

And although I didn’t complete either in the 30 days (I have since 🙂 alhamdulillah), I did memorize more than I ever have in a short time, it was a phenomenal start, the experience was delightful and added SO much more to my Ramadan.

This Ramadan, I’ve decided to memorize Surah Al Kahf, inshaAllah.

This is also the surah chosen for the top of 3 levels in the Quran memorization competition. 💰 Cash prize of $500 USD!!! for the sister who memorizes it well.

If you’ve ever wanted to commit this surah to your heart, then join my Ramadan program and we’ll do it together 💞

I share daily updates on my progress, along with memorization tips and ways to understand the meaning of the ayat.

We’ll also have classes with my Hifth teacher to make sure you’re reading the surah correctly, and fun ways to review the ayat!

Prepare for Ramadan with us as I share my weekly challenges designed for my RBR students to take actionable steps each week to see their goal through of being able to recite The Quran with confidence by Ramadan.

I’ll have some fun and competitive challenges along with some practical ones to help sisters stay more engaged and accountable for the next 8 weeks leading up to Ramadan.

Many sisters who don’t know how to read Arabic do not have a copy of a mushaf (all Arabic Quran book). So Week One Challenge is for sisters to buy a copy of a mushaf and open it daily to remind themselves of their goal.

✨Make The Quran your #1 study resource.

No matter where you are in your Arabic learning journey, you can use the mushaf to practice what you do know:
- What letter is that?
- How do you read this symbol?
- Can you recite this word?
- Try reading an ayah or one line on the page

You want to become more comfortable with a Quranic page as you learn so that it’s less intimidating and overwhelming when you finish learning all the reading rules and open it for the first time.

You will read slow and choppy if it’s the first time you are learning. We all sounded like that. But with time and lots of practice, you will gain fluency.

If you already own a mushaf, then take it off the shelf and put it somewhere as a daily reminder to connect with Allah’s Book.

Please share this challenge if you decide to do it to inspire other sisters to buy or pick up their mushaf!

The Quran will be a companion for you the in grave. I reminded my Ijazah Prep students of this today after our class.

Also, if you make the intention to memorize the entire Quran and pass before completing it, by the Will of Allah, you’ll be raised as a Hafithah.

What a merciful Lord.

The Quran is a gift that never stops giving, in this world and the next.

The rewards are multiplied (DOUBLED if you struggle!). Imagine, being rewarded 10, 20, 100, 1000 times or MORE for every single letter you recite? One letter, multiple rewards.

May your scales of good deeds be heavy from all The Quran that you recite!

May Allah raise your ranks for all the time you spend with His Words!

May your prayers be lengthened as you recite The Quran during them, with understanding.

Following the sunnah, to me, includes reciting, pondering and acting upon The Book given to our Beloved Prophet. Peace and blessing be upon him.

There is no greater gift than The Quran.
