Peebles Place is a state licensed, home-based childcare space located in Pittsburgh, Pa. We provide care for children from six weeks to six years.

The bridge collapse (RIP Fern Hollow) may be slowing down traffic city-wide, but we’re still going at top speed over here! We’ve been busy enjoying the snow, singing our new winter songs, creating obstacle courses, and reading, reading, reading. On another note, we feel so thankful that no one was fatally injured in the collapse and are grateful to all first responders. Stay safe and warm, neighbors!

This month flew by! Our pals spent October doing important work like singing our favorite pumpkin songs, dressing up for Halloween, learning letter sounds, creating works of art, practicing calming breaths (“smell your flower, blow out your candle”), working together to complete tasks, and so much more. Happy November! 🍁

Happy October! Who loves fall? 🙋‍♀️Pumpkin hunts, fall treasure walks, letter-of-the-week baskets, and new fall songs are some of the ways we’ve celebrated this fall season so far. 🍂😊

The rakes are out & the green beans are harvested! Fall, we’re ready for you.🍁 This week, we’ve enjoyed rain walks, trips to the park, worked on our counting, and practiced three new sight words with our older pals. Happy Friday!

What a beautiful summer it has been! We’re excited to usher in the start of a new school year (and be done with the humidity and 🦟🦟), but we will definitely be missing these summer days!

swipe to see our outdoor space ☀️ with Summer right around the corner we’ve been busy filling our backyard with all kinds of fun! We currently have a playhouse and fairy house, sand and water tables, 2 swings, a slide, balance beam, sand box, mega block table, bubble machine, garden, and a basketball hoop…just to name a few! We love spending our days outside with our Peebles pals 🌱🌿
