🦃🇮🇹 This week we met Tommaso il Tacchino and celebrated Il Giorno del Ringraziamento in Italian! The kids made their own Tommaso with Play-Doh and feathers, sang “Tacchino, Dove Vai?”, learned Thanksgiving foods in Italian, and created another turkey craft with dot stickers. So much festive fun! 🍁✨

🎃🇮🇹 We had such a fun time celebrating La Festa di Halloween last week! The kids came in costume, explored our sensory streghe and zucche, listened to the story of Franco Frankenstein, and made Halloween shapes with Play-Doh. So much spooky Italian fun! ✨👻

🍂🇮🇹 Our Autunno class was a blast! The children created mess-free sensory leaves and apples, went apple picking to raccogliere le mele, and practiced i numeri in italiano! 🍎✨

We reviewed colors, played at the sensory table, and even made Simone lo Spaventapasseri — what a fun fall day! 💛

🎃 Next up: our Halloween class on October 26th! Costumes encouraged as we explore spooky Italian words through stories, crafts, and songs.

🍂✨ Benvenuto, Autunno! ✨
Our first class of the season was a huge success! 🌟 The little ones created their very own autunno trees, using dot markers to add colorful leaves. We practiced i colori (rosso, arancione, giallo, verde, marrone) and even worked on i numeri with fun Play-Doh mats. Together, we added bright fall leaves to our big class tree — such a beautiful way to welcome the season! 🌳🍁

We had an amazing time in class last week as we introduced the lesson on I Colori d’Estate — especially the bright, beautiful colors you’d find at la spiaggia (the beach)! The children made their own gelati with Play-Doh, painted colorful ghiaccioli, explored our sensory bins, and even created their own coppe di gelato. It was a joyful, hands-on experience full of learning and laughter.

Can you believe there are only three weeks left of our summer session?

This week, we’ll be diving under the sea to learn all about Gli Animali del Mare — a favorite theme full of movement, music, and imaginative play. 🐠🐚🌊

Each class is an opportunity to explore Italian in an immersive, sensory-rich environment designed especially for young learners and their grown-ups.
