It's been a week & a half but I'd just like to note the occasion of my third Ph.D. student who successfully defended his thesis with minor corrections. Of note is his external examiner Dr. Paul Segars, one of the top researchers in Medical Imaging with his seminal work on the XCAT phantom which alone has more than 1000 citations: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=bO6W8PgAAAAJ&hl=en
