Expanding our knowledge and vocabulary. Types of Turtles, Marine Life and Types of Sharks.

I wanted to learn about bedbugs. They eat blood from humans and animals, like dogs. You can only get rid of them if you vaccuum them up, steam them or heat them up. A female can lay 2-3 eggs daily if she has a regular source of food.

Working on Fractions at the start of the 2022/23 SY!

I made an upcycled water dispenser using materials on hand. An empty yogurt container holds the water and a tin foil covered toilet paper roll is the spout.

Working with the compass to find our bearings.

Learning about Recycling, Reducing and Reusing with this work. Here I sorted out yard waste, compost and other things that have to be disposed of in special ways (batteries, computers, etc.). I also learned how to sort paper, glass, plastic, and metal.

New life abounds...2 new baby ducks ( a little older now) and lizard eggs (they have hatched now). We are so fortunate to have these experiences at SGR Advevntures Academy!
