📢 We are very excited to be launching our next Project in a Box- “Making Medicine”, in partnership with Ipsen.
👏 The Ipsen STEM volunteering group have re-purposed unused and expired items into fun experiments that can help inspire and engage young people!
👀 This project is aimed at Years 4-6 and is open to all primary schools in Wrexham.
🧪 Participating schools will receive a free STEM box, containing lots of different equipment to run practical activities, which replicate real tasks within the day-to-day running of Ipsen!

📢 Rydym yn edrych ymlaen yn fawr at lansio ein Bocs Prosiect nesaf - “Gwneud Meddyginiaeth”, mewn partneriaeth ag Ipsen.
👏 Mae grŵp gwirfoddoli STEM Ipsen wedi ail-bwrpasu eitemau nad ydynt yn cael eu defnyddio ac sydd wedi dod i ben er mwyn gwneud arbrofion hwyliog sy’n helpu i ysbrydoli ac ymgysylltu â phobl ifanc!
👀 Mae’r prosiect hwn wedi’i anelu at ddisgyblion Blwyddyn 4 - 6 ac mae ar agor i bob ysgol gynradd yn Wrecsam.
🧪 Bydd ysgolion sy’n cymryd rhan yn cael bocs STEM am ddim, sy’n cynnwys llawer o wahanol offer i gynnal gweithgareddau ymarferol, sy’n atgynhyrchiad o dasgau go iawn yng ngweithrediadau Ipsen o ddydd i ddydd!

🌟Invitation to Junior Schools in Wrexham!🌟
🚀Wrexham University’s Civic Mission team is excited to announce a unique and educational opportunity for schools in Wrexham to participate in our Space Pizza Hydroponics Project🍕🌱, funded by the Wrexham Food Partnership Small Grants Programme. This project offers an engaging way for pupils to explore science, space, sustainability, and teamwork through hands-on learning.
As part of the project, your school will receive a loaned hydroponics box, along with seeds and a comprehensive set of resources to guide pupils through an interactive storyline. They will take on the role of colonists travelling to Mars, tasked with growing ingredients for a space pizza whilst learning about hydroponics and the challenges of life in space.
🔍How It Works
1. Educators will attend a two-hour CPD workshop to receive training and resources at Wrexham University.
2. Civic Mission staff and Grozen, will deliver the first session, helping pupils assemble their hydroponics box and plant their seeds.
3. You will have the freedom to guide your class through the learning plans, culminating in the harvesting of ingredients for their very own space pizza.
💡How to Get Involved:
We have limited spaces for 6 schools in Wrexham to participate, so please register your interest as soon as possible to secure your school’s place in this exciting project!

🌟Gwahoddiad i Ysgolion Iau yn Wrecsam!🌟
🚀Mae tîm Cenhadaeth Ddinesig Prifysgol Wrecsam yn falch o gyhoeddi cyfle unigryw ac addysgiadol ysgolion yn Wrecsam gymryd rhan yn ein Prosiect Hydroponeg Pitsa’r Gofod🍕🌱, a ariennir gan Raglen Grantiau Bach Partneriaeth Bwyd Wrecsam. Mae’r prosiect hwn yn cynnig ffordd ymgysylltiol i ddisgyblion ddysgu am wyddoniaeth, y gofod, cynaliadwyedd, a gwaith tîm trwy ddysgu ymarferol.
Fel rhan o’r prosiect hwn, bydd eich ysgol yn cael bocs hydroponeg ar fenthyg, ynghyd â hadau a set gynhwysfawr o adnoddau i arwain disgyblion trwy stori ryngweithiol. Byddant yn wladychwyr yn teithio i blaned Mawrth, i dyfu cynhwysion ar gyfer pitsa’r gofod wrth ddysgu am hydroponeg a heriau bywyd yn y gofod.
🔍Sut mae’n Gweithio
1. Bydd addysgwyr yn mynd i weithdy DPP dwy awr i gael hyfforddiant ac adnoddau ym Mhrifysgol Wrecsam.
2. Bydd staff y genhadaeth ddinesig a Grozen yn cyflwyno’r sesiwn gyntaf, gan helpu’r disgyblion i roi eu bocs hyroponeg at ei gilydd a phlannu eu hadau.
3. Bydd gennych ryddid i arwain eich dosbarth drwy'r cynlluniau dysgu, gan arwain at gynaeafu cynhwysion ar gyfer eu pisa’r gofod eu hunain.

Mae gennym leoedd cyfyngedig i 6 ysgol yn Wrecsam gymryd rhan, felly cofrestrwch eich diddordeb cyn gynted ag y bo modd i sicrhau lle i’ch ysgol yn y prosiect cyffrous hwn!
