Coach Nami

Coach Nami I provide people with the tools and resources to master their minds and unleash their inner light.

IQ got them hired.
EQ helps them navigate relationships.
MQ is what holds them together when the pressure hits.

We hire for intelligence. We train for emotional skills. But almost no one is taught how to actually function under pressure.

That’s the gap.

MQ is inner mastery. It’s how to stay centered when stakes are high. How to calm yourself before the moment overwhelms you. How to lead from alignment, not reaction.

This is what we teach at the Mind Quotient. And this is what organizations need to start offering their teams.

Because the leaders you hired are only as effective as the inner stability they can access in the moments that matter.

If your team is ready, let’s connect.

This is what we do at the Mind Quotient.

Today I moderated a panel on courageous leadership in healthcare at JP Morgan’s Healthcare Leadership Forum and facilitated an MQ workshop for the women in the room.

We bring curated, customized inner-skill development programs to organizations. The skills unlock potential and capacity in leaders and high-performing teams.

IQ gets you into the room. EQ helps you read the room. MQ is how you function in the room.

If your organization is ready to invest in the third quotient, send me a DM. Let’s bring this work to your team.

I looked successful. I didn’t feel it.

VP role. NYC loft. Three kids. Married. From the outside, I had built the life.

But success on the outside doesn’t fill the empty space on the inside. It never has.

It wasn’t until I started the inner work that I actually started to feel successful. And none of my circumstances had changed. The shift was inner alignment.

Without that, no amount of external success will feel like enough.

When we talk about the things that trouble us, our triggers, the parts of ourselves we usually hide, we give permission to others to do the same.

That’s the work.

But almost no one does it. Because the pressure to look put together, to say the right thing, to post the highlight reel is constant.

I’m guilty of it too. I put lip gloss on before this video. I retake reels six times. I want to look a certain way.

And every time I do that, I’m setting an expectation. For me. For you. For everyone watching.

What if we let some of that go?

Not all at once. Just a little at a time. The parts we usually don’t share. The thoughts we usually don’t say out loud.

That’s where real connection lives.

Constantly pouring from an empty cup doesn’t make us stronger leaders, mothers, partners, or humans. It just makes us exhausted.

When we learn to fill our own cup first, we don’t give less.

We give from a healthier, more grounded, more whole place.

Here are 5 ways to start filling your own cup again:
1. Stop treating rest like something you have to earn. Take the time you need! 💤
2. Spend time with people who make you feel safe being fully yourself. Reach out to them and connect. 🤝
3. Create small moments of stillness before immediately reacting to stress. Take deep breaths. 😮‍💨
4. Reconnect with something that brings you joy, creativity, or peace. Lately, for me it’s playing the piano, making flower arrangements or organizing things! 💐 🎹
5. Ask yourself what you need instead of mostly focusing on what everyone else needs from you. ❤️

At The Mind Quotient™️, we believe self-awareness and self-management are not luxuries. They are foundational to how we lead, love, and live.

Which one do you need most right now?

How many things in your life have you subconsciously convinced yourself you don’t deserve?

Love.
Peace.
Friendship.
Rest.
Success.
Abundance.
Being chosen.
Being supported.

One of the most powerful things I learned on my healing journey was this:

You cannot wait until you “feel worthy” to start receiving good things.

Sometimes healing begins by doing something loving for yourself with no conditions attached.

Not because you earned it.
Not because you proved yourself.
Not because you finally achieved enough.

Just because you are worthy now.

That simple shift starts teaching your mind a new story.

I’m Coach Nami, founder of The Mind Quotient™️, on a mission to establish the third quotient.

And part of mastering your mind is learning to stop making your worth conditional.

What’s one thing you can do for yourself this week… just because?

Among many other things, Motherhood takes strength, resilience and confidence. I learned these from my mother and continue to every day.

What I learned the most from her is what she says all the time: “go with the flow.” No one emulates that more than her.

She even leveled it up some years ago by telling me one of the quotes from Elif Shafak’s book, The Forty Rules of Love. “Don’t go with the flow. Be the flow.” So that’s what we do now. BE THE FLOW.

Happy Mother’s Day 💕

Last week I had the privilege of leading another workshop for HBA Atlanta chapter. I am so proud of the woman who participated in their workshop and allowed me to guide them on an inner journey of empowerment and enlightenment as they harnessed their vulnerabilities. The bravery in the room was magnetizing and we are left feeling and being lighter. .samat
