📢 ADVISORY ON BAG INSPECTION GUIDELINES 📢

In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, all schools are directed to implement the Bag Inspection Guidelines to help ensure a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for all learners, personnel, and visitors.

🔹 Who are covered?
All learners, school personnel, and visitors entering school premises.

🔹 Purpose of the inspection
To maintain campus safety and protect the welfare of everyone within the school community.

🔹 Authorized personnel
Bag inspections shall only be conducted by authorized personnel, such as licensed security personnel or designated school staff, following established procedures.

🔹 Inspection methods
Only non-contact inspection methods are allowed, including:
✔️ Electronic scanners
✔️ Handheld metal detectors
✔️ Search sticks

🔹 Important reminders
❌ No "stop and frisk" procedures
❌ No physical pat-downs
❌ No unnecessary touching of personal belongings

🔹 When further inspection is necessary
If there is reasonable suspicion, the learner shall be escorted to the Principal's Office, with the presence of a Guidance Counselor or designated school staff to ensure that the process is conducted properly and respectfully.

Let us work together in promoting a culture of safety, respect, responsibility, and trust within our schools while upholding the rights and dignity of every learner.

Our dedicated teaching personnel proudly participated in the blood donation drive held this morning at Barangay Baculin, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. Through this simple yet meaningful act, they have helped give hope and a second chance at life to those in need.
