A Night of Gratitude: Honoring the Hands That Raised Us
March 25, 2026 became a truly unforgettable evening at the Brgy. Gymnasium of Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, as the graduating Senior High School learners of Runruno National High School, together with their families, gathered for a celebration filled with elegance, joy, and heartfelt appreciation.
The program was thoughtfully composed of three meaningful parts:
The night opened with the Thanksgiving Service, led by Pastor Marvin Adap, where gratitude was expressed through prayers, hymns, and messagesโrecognizing the unwavering guidance and blessings that shaped the studentsโ journey.
This was followed by the Tribute to Parents, the heart of the celebration. Through heartfelt messages, dances, and the giving of tokens, students honored the sacrifices, love, and support of their parents and guardians. It was a touching moment that highlighted the deep bond between families.
The evening culminated with the End-of-School-Year Rites Socialization Night, where students expressed their confidence, creativity, and individuality. The celebration came alive through performances, dances, and games, fostering camaraderie and joy. Special awards were also given to students who stood out in elegance, poise, and styleโcelebrating not just appearance, but confidence and self-expression.
More than just a program, the entire evening shone like a starโreflecting the excellence, dedication, and inspiring leadership of the student leaders who made the event truly remarkable.
The event was made even more inspiring by the message of our guest speaker, Ms. Marizel A. Reyes, RSWโMSWD Officer and proud alumna (Batch 2013), who reminded everyone of the value of gratitude, resilience, and honoring the hands that raised us.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to our School Principal, Sir Arvee Glen P. Abellera, EdD, for his unwavering support and leadership.
Likewise, our heartfelt gratitude is extended to the MLGU Quezon, headed by Honorable Anabelle Mae B. Binwag, and the BLGU Runruno, headed by Honorable John M. Babli-ing, for their invaluable support and contribution to the success of this event. We also sincerely thank all individuals and groups who, in one way or another, shared their time, effort, and resources in making this celebration possible.
Indeed, it was not just a celebrationโbut a night of reflection, recognition, and gratitude that will forever be cherished in the hearts of the graduating learners. โจ๐ฅฐโค๏ธ๐ซฐ
