I've always thought that Imagineers could design one H.E.C.K. of a writing center. This Kahn Academy class looks like an enjoyable way to spend some "shelter in place" time. I'm going to see if I can bend the lessons to my latest admin. venture!

Article in todays _Chronicle_ about the Disneyfication of George Washington University: they brought in Disney Institute to raise morale via semi-compulsory workshops and, well, I'm sure we all know what happens next. Why is it that schools always seem to get this wrong? A WPA can "fix" student writing. A diversity scholar can't "fix" institutionial diversity.
