Ourmeeting last night was a blast. Judy was a Toastmaster for the first time. Great job, Judy! The theme was "cats". Vicky's table topics were custom designed for those who are lucky enough to have cats, and those who don't. Pam's speech was titled "Happy Birthday, America"'and featured some beautiful photos of our beautiful country.

Toastmasters meetings are a safe environment in which to learn. We are supportive of each other and help each other to grow.
Our members seek to gain the skills necessary to communicate and lead, and have fun while doing it. Empowering individuals through personal and professional development.
Our May 11 meeting was fun. Toastmaster Keith 's theme was Mother's Day. We had two speakers: Pam and Keith. Pam spoke about how to do evaluations, and Keith made the connection between good mothers and good mentors. Lyn joined our club.

Another wonderful meeting on April 13. Vicky was our Toastmaster and the theme was "April." We welcome our newest member, Carl, who didn't waste any time and did his ice breaker speech. Last night we had another fun meeting of Renate's Radiant Ridge Toastmasters. The theme was St Patrick's Day. We had two speakers, Keith Hampton and Edward Dees. Keith spoke about managing change, and Ed spoke about mentoring. Judy's Table Topics made us think and travel through time.

Our meeting on Monday night, Feb 25, was fun as usual. Keith was Toastmaster and the theme was Mardi Gras! Keith did a Pathways presentation and Karen spoke about the Distinguished Club Program. Last night's meeting at the Lakes Region Library in Inverness was, as usual, a lot of fun. The theme was "Valentine's Day". Keith Hampton was our Toastmaster. The word of the day was "fondness."Keith gave us the history of Valentine's day, going back centuries. Vicky spoke about assisting members with signing up on the websites, and we planned a meeting to have members bring their laptops and try the procedures out. Since all of our members are so busy, Keith will do a presentation at our next meeting and Vicky will make the recording available to members.
Our next meeting is 5:30 PM, on Monday, February 23. We are always happy to welcome guests. Come and see us!
Another great meeting yesterday. What did you miss if you were not there? Let me tell you! The theme was fresh starts and clear paths. Ed was Toastmaster, and he also did a speech about his leadership style. Nathan did a speech with lots of information on AI and its dangers. We all learned a lot from him! We have a lot of fun in Renate's Radiant Ridge Toastmasters. After Christmas we had a party at Vicky's house. Looked lie everyone had a good time! Nothing better than being with smart, happy people.

We had a haunting meeting last night. Everyone came in or borrowed a costume. The theme was Halloween. Kim did an upbeat speech called "You got this!" Judy's table topics included time travel, talking with a person from history, and what would you do with a million dollars? Sister Mary Victoria was Toastmaster and was very strict with the meeting.

Radiant Ridge Toastmasters is moving. Starting next Monday, June 9, we will be meeting at the Lakes Region Library in Inverness. 1511 Druid Road, Inverness. 5:30 to 6:45. We want to thank JW Morton of Century 21 Real estate for letting us use their room. We outgrew the room and the room at the library is much larger. Here are our dates: June 9, June 23, July 14, July 28, August 11 and August 25. Stop by and enjoy our meetings with us.
