I know I’m a tech graduate, but this is not what I want to do."
A client told me this in one of our first conversations. He was frustrated, drained, and stuck in a job that didn’t excite him.
On paper, his career looked great—he worked for a top tech company, had a stable role, and was surrounded by smart colleagues. But inside? He felt disconnected.
I asked him, “What gives you more wings than tech?”
There was a pause. Then his face lit up.
"I love interacting with people, organizing events, making others happy… but is that even possible in my job?"
That was the moment everything changed.
As we worked together, we uncovered a simple truth—his strength wasn’t just in tech. It was in engaging with people, collaborating, and leading projects that brought teams together.
But surrounded by highly technical peers, he felt like an outsider.
Through coaching, we found ways for him to:
✔ Delegate tasks that drained him
✔ Volunteer for projects that aligned with his strengths
✔ Have a conversation with HR about new opportunities
A year later, he is thriving in a role that allows him to use his real strengths. He is still in tech, but now leading initiatives that bring people together. The best part? He is happy, motivated, and excelling in his career.
What Changed?
The moment he stopped forcing himself into a role that didn’t fit and started embracing his true strengths, everything shifted.
If you feel stuck in a job that doesn’t align with who you are, ask yourself:
Am I being true to myself at work?
What type of work energizes me the most?
How can I bring more of that into my career?
Your career should work for you, not the other way around.
If you’re at a crossroads and need clarity, let’s talk.
There’s always a way forward when you know what you truly want.

What If the Only Thing Holding You Back Is You?
For years, I believed self-love had to be earned—only after fulfilling responsibilities, meeting expectations, and proving my worth.
But 2024 changed everything. I realized self-love isn’t a reward. It’s a choice. And sometimes, it’s the hardest one to make.
💡 Choosing my health—when I committed to exercising six days a week, despite work, life, and every excuse not to.
💡 Choosing courage—when I faced surgery and recovery, trusting my body to heal instead of letting fear take over.
💡 Choosing growth—when I stepped into new spaces: career coaching, keynote speaking, and embracing my professional transformation.
💡 Choosing to let go—when my son left for university, and I had to redefine myself after 22 years of being a full-time mom.
Each choice meant breaking barriers—both internal and external: self-doubt, fear, expectations.
But here’s the truth: self-love is the foundation of every breakthrough.
When you choose YOU, you give yourself permission to grow, lead, and rewrite the rules.
And now, I want to hear from you:

Why do we chase perfection when we know it’s impossible to achieve?
This question has stayed with me, and Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection helped me see things differently. My 1st book I read in year 2024.
I’ve come to realize that imperfections aren’t flaws to fix—they’re what make us human, relatable, and resilient.
This year, I’ve leaned into these lessons and seen how they’ve shaped me as a leader.
Here are the key takeaways that resonated with me:
🎁Authenticity: Staying true to who I am and making choices that align with my values.
🎁Courage: Taking steps that felt uncomfortable but necessary for growth.
🎁Vulnerability: Learning that openness strengthens trust and relationships.
🎁Gratitude: Shifting challenges into opportunities to learn and grow.
🎁Becoming: Knowing you have the power to change, you inspire other leaders too - this itself is so empowering - don't you think?
As the year wraps up, I’d love to hear your thoughts - How has embracing imperfection influenced your journey?
