Not Alone @ the Beach is faculty-led initiative coordinates cutting-edge confidential advocacy services and gender and power-based violence prevention education, promote confidential support services to the CSULB community for sexual assault, interpersonal violence, stalking, domestic violence, sexual harassment and exploitation.
CAPS provides support for students facing personal challenges and mental health concerns. Services offered at CAPS include short-term individual counseling, group counseling, case management and referral, psychoeducational workshops, and crisis intervention. The mission of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is to support our students in achieving their academic goals by improving their psychological and emotional health and overall wellbeing.
Sisterfriends a healing-centered, supportive networking group for Black women students at CSULB (Long Beach State) dedicated to connection, empowerment, and collective care. The group provides a space to discuss life, relationships, and navigating higher education, often meeting on Thursdays, such as from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in BH 226.
