Field Trip Day for MGT 221! Each class had the opportunity to visit Tony and Pete’s and Val’s Bakery to learn from the owners about their entrepreneurial journeys.

A unique opportunity, the competition tasked students with exploring the viability of establishing a Living Learning Community for the 55+ demographic, either on campus or in the surrounding area. The goal was to create a space where seniors could engage with university students while enjoying tailored services and amenities to meet their needs. With a top prize of $7,500 on the line, students engaged in thorough research, crafting professional proposals that delved into the economic impact, financial feasibility, and logistical viability of the proposed senior living community.

There have been a few more exciting opportunities for MGT 221 classes over the past few weeks. The second Entrepreneur’s at the Table (EAAT) Breakfast of the semester took place last week and featured panelists from the production/media industry.
