Last year when the CA State Bar was looking for vendors for its MCQs, LA Law Institute joined the running and hired a bunch of exam writers to produce over 2K questions. At the end, they choose Kaplan over us but we maintained ownership of our questions. We have a decided to put them into our LMS and make them available to the public. We reviewed Kaplans study guide for format and structure to make sure we had similar style questions, and now, we are ready to make our California Bar Exam Simulator available to the public. There is a two day Free Trial so you can see how it operates but you will find custom questions and best of all, a much more affordable price. We are only charging enough to pay our exam creators and offer a monthly subscription.

Announcing the Julianna Hammond Scholarship for Law Office Study Program participants studying for the June 2025 FYLSX.

The Julianna Hammond Scholarship was established to honor the memory of an extraordinary law student who embodied resilience, kindness, and unwavering determination. Julianna was more than just an upperclassman; she was a beacon of hope and support for her fellow students, particularly first-year law students struggling with the challenges of the baby bar.
Julianna's journey through law school was not without obstacles. She faced the disappointment of not passing the baby bar on her first attempt, but her perseverance shone through as she continued to strive, ultimately succeeding on her second try. This scholarship celebrates her spirit of persistence in the face of adversity.
What made Julianna truly remarkable was her ability to uplift others despite facing her own significant health challenges. She carried her burden quietly, never allowing her personal struggles to dim her radiant personality or dampen her enthusiasm for helping others. Her small acts of kindness, like sharing playlists or sending cheerful fairy stickers, brought light to her classmates' lives during the most stressful times of law school.
Tragically, Julianna passed away shortly after achieving her dream of graduating from law school. Her untimely departure left many of her fellow students stunned, as few were aware of the health battles she had been silently fighting.
This scholarship aims to honor Julianna's memory by supporting law students who demonstrate her same qualities of resilience, kindness, and determination. It is our hope that recipients of this scholarship will carry forward Julianna's legacy, proving that even when dealt a difficult hand, one can still rise above circumstances to achieve their dreams and positively impact the lives of others.
Julianna Hammond showed us that true strength lies not in the absence of adversity, but in the courage to face it with grace and optimism. May her story continue to inspire future generations of law students to persevere, support one another, and spread joy, no matter the challenges they face.

When we started this group, our goal was to address the dissatisfaction with the resources available to those of us pursuing our dreams of becoming lawyers and then share opportunities with our friends. Through our free lectures, shared knowledge, and now affordable exam simulators, we continue to help you overcome the next big hurdle on your path to achieving your own dream.

For those who may not be aware, we have developed two exam simulators in response to your concerns about the high costs, limited effectiveness, and long-term commitments required by Adaptibar, BarMax, and similar platforms. Through our non-profit LA Law Institute, we secured licensing with the NCBE, allowing us to offer the same questions found in other simulators. Additionally, we’ve created thousands of custom questions covering all bar exam subjects. Once Kaplan releases their study guide, our subject matter experts will craft additional questions tailored to their format and structure specifically for the California bar.

As you know, FYLSX questions differ from those on the bar exam, so we've also developed a unique Baby Bar exam simulator. Our subject matter experts, who have all taken the Baby Bar, are familiar with its format, structure, and content, and have designed questions specifically to help you achieve your best score. With the FYLSX now removing the essay component, having access to a dedicated and affordable exam simulator is more important than ever.
