With support from the Getty Foundation’s Conserving Canvas Initiative, the CICS will host and organise a digital teaching workshop about minimal invasive methods for the conservation of textile supports of paintings.

We are busy preparing the Workshop Report Publication, featuring insights into the workshop content and the case study paintings of our international participants – so here’s a little teaser image for you: We are really excited and looking forward to it! But until then we still have a bit of work to do, we’ll keep you posted....

The publication will be online and open access for everyone, made possible with support from the Getty Foundation through its Conserving Canvas Initiative

Exactly one week ago we had the final meeting of our Digital Teaching Workshop Fusion 1: mare nostrum, where all participants gave an overview of the case studies they had worked on:
And our participants from Croatia, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Slovenia, Spain and Portugal did a really great job!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people involved in the project!
